Summer Aerospace Teacher Workshop

June 16-19, 2014
Classes times are 9:00 am - 3:00 pm and are held at the MnDOT Office of Aeronautics at 222 Plato Blvd East, St. Paul, Minnesota 55107.
This workshop is free for licensed teachers teaching in Minnesota. This class is suitable for teaching grades 4-12. Each participant will receive a Science of Flight Kit and Curriculum to use in your classroom next fall. A certificate of completion for 24 CEU’s is given at the end of the workshop. Participants will go on field trips to enhance the learning experience. Follow the instructions on the workshop form (PDF, 281KB) to register.

Are you ready to see the 2014 Minnesota Aviation Art Contest Winners?

This year theme is "Flying Saves Lives". All children (entrants) must be residents of Minnesota. Entries eligibility is for children between the ages of 6-17 by December 31, 2013. The format required is on 11 by 17 paper and artwork must NOT be framed or outlined with border.

Fly Minnesota Passport Program

Fly Minnesota Airports is a program sponsored by MnDOT Aeronautics and the Minnesota Council of Airports (MCOA) to promote general aviation in Minnesota. Learn more about the Fly Minnesota Passport Program.

Transportation Economic Development Program

This program is a joint effort between the Minnesota Department of Transportation and Department of Employment and Economic Development, It is designed to address both the state’s transportation system needs and economic development objectives; to create and preserve well-paying jobs across the state.
